Lismore loves live music and events! The Levee is a venue where you can see talented local musicians and artists of all kinds perform in an intimate setting. See below for some of our up coming gigs.

Steven Muller

Thursday - 22nd February


Steven is a classically trained guitarist, who has been gigging around the Northern Rivers for the last 10 years. Playing a mix of classical Spanish pieces mixed in with some Tommy Emanuel and Elvis number, Steve is a diligent entertainer.

DJ Nat White

Friday - 23rd February


DJ Nat White all-vinyl grooves! Nat’s musical education was spent in the fields, forests and clubs of Wales, dancing to the sounds of 90’s subculture sound systems, DiY, Freebass and Spiral Tribe. Taking to the turntables himself, he was soon organising his own parties and playing across Wales and later, North London. After an extended break he’s now back on the decks making up for lost time, playing at venues and parties across the Northern Rivers. Expect an all-vinyl session of Soul, funk, disco, boogie, Balearic beat, golden era hip-hop and a few house and rave classics thrown in!

Speak Eazy - Open Mic / Open Deck

Saturday - 24th February


A collective group of DJs and MCs who have been putting on free live Hip-Hop shows across the Northern Rivers since late 2021. Specialising in open mic and open decks, spinning 80s and 90s jams on traditional vinyl. Speak Eazy is for those who live and breathe the fundamentals of real Hip Hop. Come on down the 24th this month for a new monthly regular show to be held at The Levee Bar, Lismore. We’ll be having freestyle competitions and potential battles, too, which includes prizes for the winner. So lock it in this Saturday, the 24th of February, and come on with the come on, get down with the get down.

Neil McCann

Sunday - 25th February


Neil McCann has been performing and recording in the Northern Rivers in various bands and solo for over fifteen years. He was previously based in Sydney. Neil has played at local and national festivals such as Bluesfest, Tamworth, Reggae Fest, and Mullum Music Festival. Neil’s solo repertoire combines classic blues and roots, soul standards, and New Orleans-style funk. Neil has developed a distinct style and feel, with soulful vocals and percussive acoustic guitar.


Thursday - 29th February


Mostly instrumental, playing music from all over the world on an eclectic variety of instruments, lil’Flunk will woo you with romantic pirate vibes all night long…or at least for two 45 minute sets. Aaaaargh! lil’Flunk is a sensitive acoustic mutiny breakaway band, from the larger seven piece group, k’Flunk.

Alphabet Poets - 'Open Readings + Poetry Slam' - (i)

Thursday - 29th February


Bring a poem on a subject, or by a poet, beginning with this month’s letter ‘i’. Up to 3 mins original poetry. $50 first prize and other prizes.

Friday - 1st March


Cutting his dj teeth at roller skating rinks in the seventies to managing bands and producing mini festivals in the eighties and nineties Murray’s playlist spans 5 decades including a large selection of indie artists from the Brisbane indie scene of the late eighties and early nineties.
